Job summary

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive ResearchNurse to support clinical research studies 17.5 hours per week at Garswood Surgery. This role involves the coordination and delivery of primary care research projects supported by National institute for Health and Care Research Research Regional Research Delivery Network (NIHR RRDN). The postholder will be based within the GP surgery but will also collaborate with members of the RRDN and with St Helens North primary care network.

  • Manage the receipt, storage, and accountability of study medications under the supervision of the Principal Investigator.
  • Maintain secure storage of clinical supplies and ensure equipment functionality.
  • With appropriate training, collect clinical samples for research purposes.
  • Independently manage daily workload.
  • Engage in CPD and role-specific training.
  • Promote health education and self-care practices among patients.
