Job summary
Jubilee Healthcare is looking to recruit to increase the secretarial hours for the practice.
We are looking for a skilled secretary who has exceptional typing and admin skills, good telephone manner and is happy to work in a busy and fast paced environment.
We are a friendly practice of almost 10,000 patients. We have two sites, six partners plus registrar doctors, plus a full nursing team and admin team. We have other professional roles attached to the practice, including pharmacist, physio, physician associate plus others.
The job is for 15 hours a week, hours can be flexible. However this is not a term time only position. Hours would be across the year.
Main duties of the job
Main duties are described within the attached job description, but include patient referrals, letters to patients and other professionals, answering and dealing with appropriate telephone contacts from patients and regarding referrals plus a host of other tasks and duties.

To provide an efficient audio, and
secretarial service as required. This includes the typing of letters, reports,
patient referrals, minutes, memorandums, etc. in an accurate and quality
manner.
To assist the practice manager
with all clerical and administrative duties.
To make appointments, bookings
and admissions as required.
To establish and maintain filing
and administrative systems so that written or computer information is easily
accessible and secure.
To receive incoming and initiate
outgoing telephone calls in order to facilitate timely and appropriate
communications with others, taking messages and dealing with appropriate
queries.
To oversee all referral and
secretarial activity
To provide cover for other
administrative staff when necessary
