Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible to and working with the Operations Manager to keep abreast of all contractual changes and understanding the impact of those changes to the organisation. Ensuring the Practice is proactive in responding to those contractual changes. Ensuring optimal contractual performance in all available contractual areas including the GP Contract, IIF, enhanced services, QOF, DES and any other contracts held or new contracts coming in. Work closely with the Clinical Director responsible for contracts and with the Operations Manager to deliver a high quality service thus enhancing patients care. Responsible to and working with the Operations Manager to keep abreast of all contractual changes and understanding the impact of those changes to the organisation. Ensuring the Practice is proactive in responding to those contractual changes. Management and delivery of the annual immunisation programmes e.g. Support the Operations Manager in the delivery of the Flu programme to ensure maximise uptake of vaccine in line with set targets, as well as managing childhood imms targets.

Qualifications

Essential

  • To have at least 2 years experience of working in General Practice administration.
  • Excellent communication skills, but written and oral.
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Excellent Time Management and organisational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Line Management experience.
