Job summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our busy team in rural Needham Market.

We are a13800 patient practice with 4 GP Partners and a strong, supportive nursing team.

We use SystmOne.

Main duties of the job

Injections & Procedures

  • Routine injections
  • Child immunisations
  • Travel risk assessment, immunisations, and advice
  • Cytology
  • Wound care
  • Removal of sutures
  • Chronic disease management (Asthma)

About us

The nursing team is made up of four Practice Nurses and two health care assistants, along with a phlebotomy team who work mornings.

The practice is progressive and supportive of staff development both in house and externally.

  • Experience with diabetes treatment, hypertension, asthma and COPD would be an advantage

Qualifications

  • You must be a qualified and registered adult, child, mental health or learning disability nurse to work in general practice.
  • You will also need to be willing to undertake further training and education to keep up to date.
