We are a friendly and hard working Practice.
The GP Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients at a General Practice. You will be responsible for welcoming patients, managing appointment bookings, handling telephone and in-person queries, and providing administrative support to clinical staff. The role requires strong communication, organisational skills, confidentiality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Main duties of the job

Handle face-to-face, telephone, and online enquiries efficiently.

Appointment Management

Book, reschedule, and cancel appointments using the clinical system.

Administrative Support

Maintain accurate patient records.

Process repeat prescription requests.

File, scan, and distribute incoming documents and test results.

Liaise with GPs, nurses, other healthcare professionals, Management and patients.
