Job summary

SALARIED GP Maternity Cover F/T for 12 Months (We are a tier 2 sponsor)

4 - 6 SESSIONS PER WEEK

We currently have a vacancy for a GP to join our friendly practice

Although we have a stable clinical team we feel that this post will allow our practice greater flexibility

Located in south-east Sheffield, we serve a stable population of 10,100 people. We are a PMS Practice, and currently have three partners and four salaried GPs. We enjoy the benefits of a dedicated and enthusiastic team which includes: ANP, two nurses, five health care assistants, a clinical pharmacist, pharmacy technician and two physician associates.

Salary: Competitive, around £9644.75 per session + Indemnity depending on experience

Main duties of the job

We have an opportunity for a GP, experienced or newly qualified to work between 4 and 6 sessions in our friendly practice. We would be happy to support special interests.

We

  • are a SystmOne practice.
  • enjoy modern comfortable premises.
  • achieve excellent QOF points.
  • actively collaborate with our neighbouring practices.
  • ensure 6 weeks annual leave and one weeks study leave pro rata.
  • prioritise daily catch-ups over mid-day coffee.
  • have realistic 15-minute appointments as standard.
  • We would be keen to support the successful applicant to develop areas of special interest.

About us

We are a dynamic forward-focused practice, committed to delivering high quality person-centred care. We pride ourselves in the development and well-being of our staff.

We are an extremely supportive, dynamic team and pre pandemic would regularly arrange social evenings for the entire practice. GP's meet daily for coffee where they are able to provide mutual support and advice. We have regular team and clinical meetings some of which include multi agency staff. We have an excellent Nursing and HCA team as well as an ANP, Clinical Pharmacist, pharmacy technician and two PA's. We are an active member of the Townships 1 Network.   • Completed a two-year foundation programme of general training
  • Completed specialist training in general practice.
