Job summary
Are you an enthusiastic, qualified Dispenser (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent), who would like to join our busy but friendly practice.
Priory Medical Practice are looking to recruit the right candidate to join our Dispensary Team.
You will provide direct Dispensary services and work as part of our dispensing team. This will support the whole practice in the delivery of first-class primary healthcare services to the practice patient population.
Main duties of the job
The general purpose of the post, includes, but is not limited to-
To provide first point of contact for the Dispensary and the Practice.
To work as part of the Dispensary Team to provide Dispensary cover for holidays and sickness within the team.
To offer general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors.
To be a key point of contact for enquiries from patients, external organisations, third parties etc.
Working alongside our other Dispensers, you will be required to carry out all dispensing roles including the assembly, checking & labelling of medication and issue of dispensed items.
You will be dealing with members of the public, so excellent communication skills would be required.

We achieve high QoF and CQC success, with a focus on patient centred care and providing our family doctor service to our whole community.
There is a lot of expertise and knowledge within our Clinical team which consists of GPs, GP Trainees, Paramedic Practitioner, First Contact Physiotherapist, Practice Nurses, Care Coordinators and GP Assistant.
We have a caring and helpful Reception team and an efficient Administration team. These all work alongside our Dispensary team which provides excellent patient services at all times.
