Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join the busy dispensary team at Riverside Surgery on a part time or full time basis.
Within this role, you will ensure the safe and accurate ordering, dispensing and checking of all medication, dressings and appliances and ensure that they are prepared and delivered within the set timescales.
You will work closely with the other members of the dispensary team in the ensuring the smooth running of the dispensary.
You will give outstanding customer service to our patients, and help enable them to understand their medication.
The role is for up to 37.5 hours a week, working between 8:30am and 6:00pm on a pre-agreed rota. Part time hours will be considered.
The salary will depend on experience and qualification.
Main duties of the job
To maintain accuracy and manage your time effectively while assisting the dispensary and wider team in providing a high standard of service and care to our patients.
You will be expected to communicate effectively with staff at all levels throughout the organisation as well as patients, visitors and the general public
Dispensing medication in both original packaging, dossett boxes, and generating MAR sheets for care homes.
