Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Gudge Heath Lane Surgery for an accomplished, highly motivated Practice Nurse qualified in Diabetes Management to join our friendly and forward-thinking clinical team. The ideal candidate will be registered with the NMC and ideally have experience working within Primary Care.

Role hours:16.5-34 per week split over 3-4 days (discussed at interview- Tuesdays are required)

Main duties of the job

The Practice Nurse will work as part of the primary healthcare team providing Personal Medical Services to the patients of the Partnership.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Chronic Disease Management : Special Interest/ responsibilities e.g in Asthma / COPD / Diabetes or Coronary Heart Disease - Diabetes is essential
  • Following agreed clinical protocols
  • Clean equipment as necessary as per IPC guidelines
  • Attend and participate in any Nurse meetings when required.
  • Any other delegated duties appropriate to the post

Job responsibilities

The Practice Nurse will work as part of the primary healthcare team providing Personal Medical Services to the patients of the Partnership.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Chronic Disease Management : Special Interest/ responsibilities e.g in Asthma / COPD / Diabetes or Coronary Heart Disease -Diabetes is essential
  • Following agreed clinical protocols
  • Clean equipment as per IPC guidelines
  • Attend and participate in any Nurse meetings when required.
  • Any other delegated duties appropriate to the post
