Job summary
This role coordinates the care for our Long Term Conditions patients. The post holder will work with the management team to meet the requirements of the Dudley Quality Outcomes Framework and enhanced services within the Practice.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for
a hardworking and driven candidate who is experienced in administration work.
The role will involve liaising with patients and professionals by phone, email,
SMS text and post. The post holder will monitor and deliver a number of processes and pathways to ensure patients receive necessary invitations and tests. Therefore, it is essential that they are able to follow and retain information on practice procedures.
The post holder must have advanced IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. They will be required to use a number of IT packages including EMIS, Docman, AccuRx, Open Exeter/CSMS, Footfall and others as required. They will be responsible for creating searches, reports, templates and protocols on the EMIS clinical system. The post holder is required to have a
confident/professional telephone manner. The ability to multitask and mange their own workload is essential.
A level 4 apprenticeship candidate may be considered.
About us
Eve Hill Medical Practice is a busy GP surgery
based in Dudley; we have 5 GPs, 3 GP registrars a Nursing Team and
Administration Team who provide primary medical services to approximately 8,650
patients. We achieved an outstanding rating by the Care Quality Commission
(CQC) in March 2016. We operate a fully computerised system. The practice has a
strong focus on training and development; we provide teaching for undergraduate
medical students and trainee GPs. The practice also has an interest in research.
