Vaccinations and Immunisations, Travel health, Wound management, Health Screening, Health Promotion & screening, Venepuncture, Ear Care, Chronic Disease Management, Cervical Screening, Contraception & Sexual Health Advice, Female & Male Health and Infection Control

Qualifications

Essential

• Registered Nurse-RGN Registered with NMC
• Evidence of specific / continued training and development up to diploma level relevant to Practice Nursing
• Up to date Revalidation
• Smart, Polite and confident
• Can perform under pressure
• Adaptable
• Uses initiative
• Team worker
• Flexible and self motivated

Desirable

• Continued Professional Development to meet areas:

Experience

• Qualifications:
• Registered Nurse-RGN Registered with NMC

• Evidence of specific / continued training and development up to diploma level relevant to Practice Nursing
• Up to date Revalidation
• Continued Professional Development to meet areas of the job description
• Training:
• Additional specific training to fulfill competency for role preferably at degree level
• Willingness to undergo additional training
• Personal:
• Interpersonal skills verbal & written
• Ability to use initiative; work alone and within a team

• Able to work under pressure
• Flexibility, adaptable to the changing needs within the practice
• Dedication, sense of humour

• Professional:
• BSc (Hons) Nursing Related
• Treatment room skills and experience
• Understanding and knowledge of specific patient groups
• Information management and knowledge of clinical systems
• Practice Nurse Experience
• Mentor / teaching qualification / experience
• Personal:
• Ability to use complex reasoning, critical thinking, reflection and analysis to inform their health assessments, critical judgments and decision making
