Job summary
16 hours per week
We currently have a receptionist vacancy; this is a busy and varied role, dealing with patients both face to face and on the telephone. Duties will also include general practice administration. You will need to ensure that you are organised and be patient focused. Ideally, you will have previously gained experience in Care Navigation within a General Practice environment.
Previous experience in General Practice is desirable although training will be provided. You must have excellent communication skills; the ability to cope with change, be adaptable, accurate and ability to work alone or as part of a team are essential. You must also be IT literate and experience of EMIS web is also desirable. This post is subject to a Disclosure Barring Service check.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be required to provide excellent customer service skills and provide administration support to the Practice.You must be flexible and able to work additional hours as and when required to cover annual leave and other periods of absence to ensure the efficient and smooth running of the Practice.
