About us
Rowcroft Medical Centre sits in the heart of Stroud and provides care to over 12,000 patients from both the town and the surrounding villages.
Our ethos is based on a solid belief that the better we appreciate and care for our team the better they care for our patients. We have a strong family (and pet!) focus and understand the pressures of modern-day life on our colleagues. As such we promote flexible working, team support, home working where practical, a broad range of training and development options and a friendly and welcoming environment to work in.
We are led by four GP Partners, all pay a proactive role in running the surgery, all have young families and are passionate about the health and wellbeing of our staff and patients.
Our patient base is exceptionally supportive. Whilst we are unable to provide everyone with everything they need, on the whole, our patients are happy with their care and extremely supportive of our staff. At our last CQC inspection we achieved a rating of Good with the team that has now developed into our Vulnerable Patient Team being rated as excellent.
