Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and accomplished Person to join our Management Team for the position of Practice Practice Manager. You will be supported by the Partners
We will welcome application from staff with relevant experience who are motivated and looking for the challenge in Management and committed to serve the needs of our patients.
The person should be well versed with System-One and associated software to support the clinicians and other staff at this high achieving purpose built Surgery and should possess strong leadership skills.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate must be:
- Motivated, confident and decisive; to lead and guide our dynamic team whilst prioritizing and managing multiple projects, and push them to completion.
- Innovative: To bring new ideas and new ways of working to the Surgery. This includes the need for strong business development acumen and to challenge existing ways of working, and hone an efficient workplace.
- Meticulous and customer focused: the lives of our patients are always at the heart of the organisation. Your actions must be as careful as those of our clinicians a well-run Surgery helps its population to thrive.
- IT literate: System One is our main clinical system, alongside a range of additional software to complement this .
- The surgery plays a key role in within the PCN and the candidate must be able to support the surgery to further develop its role.

- The ideal candidate will support our vision of how we can best meet the needs of our patients and will undertake some PCN related administrative tasks.
- The candidate will work in partnership with the Practice Partners and the Practice Team.
- There will be additional responsibility to develop the current team and to support the partners with HR, Finance, QOF and staff development.
