This is an excellent development opportunity for either a proven
Business Manager who would like to develop a career in Practice Management or a
Practice Manager who would like to develop business management skills. The successful applicant will work with and
be mentored by our current Practice Business Manager as part of our succession
planning.
We are looking to recruit an experienced, confident,
forward-thinking, and highly motivated individual, who will lead our team and
work collaboratively with the Partners and our PCN (Primary Care Network). You will provide clear and positive leadership
to enable the practice to continue meeting its agreed aims and objectives
within a profitable, efficient, safe, and effective working environment. As well as meeting our contractual
obligations with NHS England (NHSE), you will maintain compliance with all
aspects of Health & Safety and employment legislation, CQC (Care Quality
Commission) regulations and facilities management/compliance.

Keep abreast of current affairs and identify potential opportunities and
threats. Implement and update Practice
development plans. Forging links with relevant agencies and the local
community.
Working with the partners and PCN to develop and
implement processes to achieve clinical targets of QOF and enhanced services. Directly
contribute to profit improvement by exploring areas for increasing income and
reducing costs. Develop and control
practice budgets and financial systems. Manage the partners drawings.
Overall responsibility for all aspects of HR,
including recruitment and selection of staff. Ensuring Employment Law
compliance. Maintain excellent
communication with the team and our patients.
Facilitate the development of a multi-disciplinary effective primary
health care team.
