Job summary
Our friendly, hard working team at Asplands and Woburn Surgeries aim high. We work in a very busy environment and the role includes ensuring communications about patients are added to their records and accurately coded. Training will be given to empower the successful candidate to be a key part of developing support for the clinicians through the patient record. There will be some patient contact and this role will be key to supporting the doctors so there will be a lot of opportunity for job satisfaction.
Main duties of the job
The main duties include:
Collating incoming communications about patients
Maintaining patient records and coding documents on to the record
Using reports to group patients and report on areas of care
Accessing web based systems to communicate with patients
