Upton Surgery is a friendly, forward thinking General
Practice with on site NHS Community staff and Social Care staff. We have a
holistic, integrated care approach for our 12,200 patients. We are a training
practice with 6 GP partners. Located just 10 minutes from junction 1 of the
M50, 15 minutes from Worcester and Malvern. 10 minutes from Tewkesbury and 30
minutes from Cheltenham.
We are seeking to employ two experienced Part time motivated
Receptionist / Care Navigator with exceptional customer focus to support our
developing triage and care navigation roles as part of our busy Reception Team.
Main duties of the job
As a receptionist you will be expected to provide a
consistent point of contact for both patients and staff, with the aim of
enabling patients to get the right co-ordinated support, at the right time to
help manage a wide range of needs. This will include working alongside our GPs
assisting them in triaging patients, providing active signposting to a range of
statutory and voluntary sector services which are often complex and difficult
to navigate.
