We are seeking
a skilled and effective Practice Manager to lead our friendly, well established
team. Bournbrook Varsity Medical Centre is a training practice with a growing
list size of approximately 14,500. We are situated in a purpose-built, modern
surgery in Selly Oak, adjacent to Birmingham University.
Main duties of the job
We require
someone who has excellent communication and organisational skills as well as a
strong grasp of business and strategic management. We hope to appoint someone
who is enthusiastic about leading change and continual improvement, while
fostering a positive and efficient environment for both patients and staff.
Candidates must have experience of leading and developing a team. Experience of
working in primary care will be advantageous, but is not essential.
About us
The Practice
Manager will work with the GP Partners, 2 experienced Operational Managers and
extended practice team to deliver high quality patient care and a happy,
supportive working environment.
The successful
applicant will work on site at the practice, although remote working may be
possible for some projects.
Salary and
hours to be negotiated, depending on experience.
