Job summary
We are seeking to recruit an
enthusiastic, committed salaried GP to join our friendly team for four to six sessions
per week.
Kingsfold Medical Centre is a
friendly, supportive practice, proud of our clinical care and patient
continuity. We are located in Penwortham serving our local community.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will deal with
a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest
standards of care for all registered and temporary patients. The post-holder
will undertake a variety of duties, including surgery consultations, telephone
and video consultations, home visits, checking and signing repeat prescriptions
via EPS and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely
fashion.
About us
Our current list size is 5080 patients, Our clinical team comprises of two partners (one clinical and one non clinical), 2 Salaried GP's, 2 part-time Practice Nurses, Nurse Associate, Pharmacist , PA, ACP and Social Prescriber. We work off EMIS web. We are part of Greater Preston Network Group PCN, which comprises of ten practices. We have a practice manager, deputy PM and admin/reception
team/secretarial team.

Qualifications
Essential
- Eligible to Practice independently as a GP in the UK
- Valid GMC registration
- Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent
- Currently on the performers list or valid to be registered if newly qualified
- Evidence of annual appraisal and revalidation (when appropriate) Enhanced DBS
- Clean UK driving licence and car
- UK work permit (if required)
- Demonstrate commitment to personal development
- Evidence of self-directed learning & development
- Knowledge of the five year plan and current NHS issues
