Job summary

1 x Fixed Term GP 12 months 4-6 sessions

£13K - 15K per session DOE and Responsibilities - increased rate as short term contract only.

1 x Perm position 4-6 Sessions

£10600 - £11150/session DOE 4-6 sessions

Low admin - circa 6-8 docs per day - coded/workflowed externally

Prescribing Hub for script safety and patient compliance monitoring

Protected break time daily for entire practice team to join - great for clinical and not so clinical chat!

Main duties of the job

• To deliver appropriate management, treatment and advice to our patients
• To uphold the principles of good medical practice as stated in the GMC statement of professional values and responsibilities:
• Make the care of your patient your first concern
• Treat every patient politely and considerately
• Respect patients' dignity and privacy
• Listen to patients and respect their views
• Give patients information in a way they can understand
• Respect the rights of patients to be fully involved in decisions about their care
• Recognise the limits of your professional competence
• Act quickly to protect patients from risk if you have good reason to believe that you or a colleague may not be fit to practice
• To provide general practice consultations to patients and, where appropriate, physical examinations for the purposes of identifying or reducing the risk of disease or injury.
• To arrange referrals for patients where appropriate.
• To provide reports and information to external agencies for the benefit of patients, e.g. social services
• To ensure that clear, accurate contemporaneous records are made of all patient encounters.
• There is the opportunity to become involved with teaching at the practice if desired, or perhaps you would like the opportunity to progress a specialism with support and mentoring
