As an ANP you will support our clinical team with face to face / telephone appointment for our patients. You will be working in collaboration with our GP, who are helpful, supportive and flexible and our nursing team.
Main duties of the job
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Act as a first point of contact for same-day medical needs
Autonomously assess, diagnose, treat and manage patients presenting with minor illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions
Prescribe independently , within V300 scope and interpret diagnostic tests
Refer patients appropriately to other services or specialists
Contribute to safeguarding, QOF achievement, and emergency clinical support

We are located in Anfield, Liverpool, Mere Lane Group Practice serves approximately 8,600 patients and is part of the Anfield & Everton PCN. We pride ourselves on delivering responsive, patient-focused care supported by a multi-disciplinary team including GPs, ANPs, Clinical Pharmacists, Paramedics, Nurses, Allied Health Professionals, and Admin staff.
Mere Lane Group Practice is a training practice with 3 GP partners who are all registered trainers. All 3 GP partners are extremely supportive and flexible, they always encourage staff to learn new skills and undertake necessary training. We have a fantastic team of people, both friendly and funny.

Request and interpret diagnostic tests including pathology, ECGs, spirometry, and urinalysis
Accurately document in accordance with legal and professional standards
Support clinical emergencies and safeguarding protocols
Prescribe and review medications in line with current guidance
Promote collaborative working with community services and multidisciplinary teams
Uphold high standards of governance, infection control, and clinical accountability
