The post holder will:
- Be an integral part of the Management Team and within this structure will be responsible for managing quality and governance initiatives.
- Lead a quality improvement approach across the service, ensuring that a positive culture towards change is fostered.
- Develop proposals for new initiatives, particularly in support of safe, effective, efficient and responsive care, and manage their implementation.
- Work in conjunction with the senior management team and practice leads to implement strategies and ensure the continued improvement of practice, underpinned by evidence-based knowledge and competencies.
- Support the Practice Manager in leading the clinical governance and quality agenda to ensure that a high quality, patient focussed service is delivered.
- Work with the Practice Manager to embed regulatory and best practice compliance e.g. CQC, NICE, clinical audit and quality assessment/reviews.
- Monitor and implement strategies to manage the performance of the service, in order to provide assurance to the organisation, commissioners and regulators, of the quality of service delivery, such as KPIs, professional standards and contractual requirements
