We are looking to recruit an experienced, registered nurse to our friendly, well established team. We would consider applicants who want full or part time hours.
We have a diverse and multi-skilled workforce with supportive GP partners and admin team. We work in great premises in the Fishponds area of Bristol and are part of the FABB Primary Care Network with neighbouring practices, Air Balloon Surgery and Fishponds Family Practice.
Main duties of the job
Ideally candidates will have experience in primary care and this would include:
Chronic disease management, adult and child vaccinations and immunisations, wound management and general treatment room care. We have a good skill mix within our current team and so could develop someone who may not have all of the above.
We provide some enhanced access hours and so flexibility and a willingness to work very occasional weekend shifts is essential.
About us
We are a team of eight GP partners, 2 salaried GPs, 6 nurses, pharmacists, paramedic and experienced admin team. We strive for a good work/life balance within a supportive environment and to ensure that everyone has a voice within the team. We hold regular nurse team and clinical meetings.
Staff are given the opportunity and support to develop their skills and reach their full potential.
We are a doctor training and teaching practice and also provide placements for student nurses. We will offer a competitive salary, NHS pension, and a pleasant working environment.
If you would like to apply for this post please apply using the NHS Jobs website, or contact sarah.monteith@nhs.net for an application pack or to arrange an informal visit.
Interviews will be held on Tuesday 10th September.
