Job summary
The post holder will work within the Pharmacy Team andsupport the delivery of medicines management to our practice population, under the guidance of the 3 experienced non medical prescribing pharmacists.
Main duties of the job
JOB SUMMARY
To support the delivery of safe, effective, and efficient systems for repeat prescribing, medicines optimisation, reducing medicines waste and maximising patient outcomes.In addition, the post holder will be responsible for encouraging the development of better understanding of the principles of medicines optimisation throughout the practice teams and promoting good practice in line with therapeutic developments.

Fernbank Surgery is a busy practice which is made up of a team of 6 very versatile partners, who are supported by a host of salaried GPs, ANPs, Clinical Pharmacists, practice nurses, health care assistants, phlebotomists, a management team and a pillar of administration and reception staff members. We are a close knit team that is able to work together efficiently and effectively to ensure that our patients receive an exemplary level of care and service from all that are part of team Fernbank.
