Job summary
A position has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to undertake the role of Practice Nurse. The ideal candidate will be registered with the NMC and ideally have experience working in a GP surgery.
Our team consists of 2 GP Partners, 3 Salaried GPs, 2 Practice Nurses, 2 HCA's, reception and administrative team with a patient list size of7,500 patients.
The Grange Surgery is a grade II listed building situated in a prime location in the historic town of Petersfield.

Main duties of the job
Provide routine nursing care to patients as required in accordance with clinical-based evidence
Provide wound care (ulcer/Doppler etc.) to patients
Request and process pathology services as necessary
Provide chronic disease clinics, delivering patient care as necessary, referring patients to secondary/specialist care as required
Implement vaccination programmes for adults and children
Liaise with external services/agencies to ensure the patient is supported appropriately (vulnerable patients etc.)
Support the clinical team with all safeguarding matters, in accordance with local and national policies
About us
The Grange Surgery has a 'family feel' with very little staff turnover. We are a social bunch who like to (under normal circumstances) enter in pub quiz's, have regular staff outings, barbeques as well as the usual Christmas functions.
We have a great demographic of patients who are all very supportive of the surgery.
