Job summary
The General
Practice/Manager Assistant will support the smooth running of the practice by
performing administration and management tasks on behalf of the GPs and
Practice Manager. This is an evolving role and may change over time.
Main duties of the job
The role will be supporting the Practice Manager, GP's and Admin staff to achieve smooth running of the practice.

About us
We are a 9 doctor
suburban training practice with around 15,000 patients. We have a team of 2
Advance Nurse Practitioners, 4 Practice Nurses, 2 Health Care Assistants, 1
Nurse Associate and 2 Clinical Pharmacists.We have efficient management,
reception, and admin teams.
We also have an onsite Mental Health Practitioner, Phlebotomist, Wellbeing and Respiratory PA.
The practice runs across
2 sites: Beaconsfield Primary Care Centre and West Bank Medical Centre.

- Assist the Practice Manager with the overall smooth running of the practice.
- Create GP rotas.
- Assist with the overall management of Staff.
- Assist in ensuring the practices policies are up to date.
- Maintain the practice website.
- Be able to read code and summarise medical records.
- Be able to create referrals.
- Create searches using Emis web.
- Assist in preparing agendas and writing minutes for meetings.
- Weekly stock check for stationary.
- Assist in the completion of claims.
- Participate in the annual Qof and Flu recalls.
- Assist in equipment maintanence for both sites.
