Job summary
Woolpit Health Centre Pharmacy is seeking a professional and patient focused pharmacist to join our team.
We are offering a position to work within the pharmacy team here within the GP practice. The pharmacy is a Hybrid, being a pharmacy and a dispensary - with a close working relationship between the Health Centre and the GP's.
Main duties of the job
Main Purpose of the role;
To support the
Superintendent pharmacist in ensuring the safe and smooth running of the
Pharmacy.
This role
reports to the Superintendent Pharmacist, and has a key role working closely
with all staff (clinical and non-clinical) across the Health Centre, as
follows:

Liaising with all Pharmacy Staff in particular the Pharmacy Manager and
Superintendent Pharmacist to ensure day to day safe running of the Pharmacy

Liaising with the Superintendent Pharmacist to ensure implementation of the
long-term business goals.

Working with Partners and the Management Team

Maintaining good working relationships with GP’s, Nursing teams and admin staff.

Supporting all members of the Health Care Team with all aspects of
information regarding medications.
The Post holder
will be responsible for supervising the following staff members:

Accredited Checking Technicians

Dispensing Technicians
-
Dispensary Assistants
-
Counter Assistants / Prescription Clerks

- Demonstrate the ability to use own initiative and work efficiently under pressure
- Proven ability to provide good customer service, remain calm in busy periods ensuring a customer focussed approach
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills
- Ability to work unsupervised and as a member of a team
- Good organisational skills
- Good computer skills
