Job summary

We are looking for a conscientious individual to join our Data Quality team to continue providing a high-class service to our patients.

Main duties of the job

Main duties of the role will include organising and coordinating QOF recalls, action and file blood results (HbA1c only), work with GP/Managers and the Data Quality Team to monitor performance against QOF targets and provide various reports in a timely manner.

Job description

Job responsibilities

  1. To conduct searches on the clinical system to identify patients for recall
  2. Ensure invites are made in a timely manner via electronic communication in the first instance, using manual posting as a last resort
  3. Read coding recalls within the patients medical records
  4. Harmonise recall for patients on multiple registers, thereby reducing impact on patients and reduce unnecessary patient contacts.
  5. Operate the programme of recall to smooth workload across the financial year as much as possible
  6. To action and file blood results (HbA1c only)
  7. Arrange medication reviews and ensure reviews are sent
  8. Work with GP/Managers and the Data Quality Team to monitor performance against QOF targets, providing regular updates and reports
  9. Provide various reports when requested in a timely manner
  10. Compose appropriate patient letters where required
  11. Provide monthly audits to the relevant GP
  12. Follow all Practice policies and procedures
  13. Support Managers as required
