Main duties of the job
Provide high-quality clinical care
to patients in line with GMC guidelines and the QOF framework
Conduct face-to-face and telephone
consultations
Work as part of a multidisciplinary
team, contributing to shared learning and collaborative working
Support the practice in clinical
governance, audits, and continuous improvement
Take part in duty doctor rota and
clinical meetings
Opportunities to develop specialist
interests are supported and encouraged
About us
Woodley Centre Surgery is a modern, well-equipped practice
located in the vibrant town of Woodley, with excellent transport links to
Reading and the wider Thames Valley.
We are an established training practice comprising of two surgeries. We are providing medical services to a list of 13700 patients across the two sites, with a multi-disciplinary team of GPs, Paramedic, PNs, Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technicians, HCAs, Health and Well-Being team and a supportive non-clinical team.

- Patient Consultations:Conducting thorough consultations, including taking medical histories, examining patients physically, and addressing their concerns.
- Diagnosis and Treatment:Diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, prescribing medications, and recommending appropriate treatments.
- Chronic Disease Management:Providing ongoing care and support for patients with chronic illnesses, such as diabetes, heart disease, and asthma.
- Continuing Professional Development:Keeping up-to-date with medical advancements and best practices.
- Emergency Response:Responding to medical emergencies within the practice setting.
