Job summary

We are looking for a part-time medical receptionist to join our friendly team of 13!

Our Reception team work across Two sites:

16 Cheltenham Road, Gloucester, GL2 0LS

Lassington Lane, Highnam, Gloucester, GL2 8DH

The successful candidate will be expected to work over both sites.

The ideal candidate will be a great team player and have an upbeat attitude with a great sense of humour.

The vacancy is for part-time (22.5 hours per week) to be worked as follows:

2pm-630pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and 830am-630pm on Friday

Previous Reception experience is desirable.

Main duties of the job

  • Answering phones / queries
  • Making / cancelling appointments for all clinicians
  • Issuing prescriptions
  • New registrations
  • Giving results
  • Scanning documents to patient notes
  • Liaising between clinicians and patients
  • General administration duties
  • Actioning and monitoring the practice email.
