Job summary
We're a General Practice that genuinely puts patients front and centre to all that we do everyday.
We value contemporaneous contact, continuity of care and high quality medical service.
We take care of each other and know that this is vital if we are to be a competent service for patients.
Main duties of the job
This is an opportunity for a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave for 12 months.
We will need initially 4-6 clinical sessions and then from mid autumn an additional 6-7 sessions too.
The role is in-person, at the surgery for each session. In accordance with the rota you will undertake a variety of GP duties inc both face to face and telephone consultations, a share of the duty doctor cover, online consults (via accuRx and document management (via DOCMAN)
About us
We hold a good reputation both with patients and staff which we are extremely proud of. This is because we care about the service we provide and the environment in which we all work.
The surgery is a Victorian property and we have a gorgeous garden for all to use - lunches, waiting and sometimes consulting! The Garden Project, for patients, meets twice a week.
We have maintained a Good CQC rating, NHS & Google reviews and continuity of staff despite all that the NHS and General Practice is facing. We see no reason why this should change.
We think that we keep the, perhaps, older values of General Practice alive whilst fully embracing the Modern General Practice approach where it is to the benefit of patients and staff.
