Job summary

The PCN coordinator will act as the main point of contact for the PCN, provide administrative support to assist the PCN member practices in their collaborative work and act as a first point of contact for the ARRS roles.

The role will involve working closely with the PCN Clinical Director, member practices and the ARRS staff.

We are looking for a highly motivated and hardworking individual who is organised with great interpersonal skills to provide high quality coordination and support across the PCN and member practices.

The primary base for this role will be in one of the PCN member practices but the successful candidate will be expected to attend all practice sites as required to fulfill the requirements of the role.

Part Time Hours will be considered but to meet the needs of the role the successful candidate will need to work across five days and a 7:30am start to support the PCN clinics and ARRS staff rota is desirable.

Main duties of the job

  • Act as the main PCN point of contact for all external stakeholders, including ARRS 3rd party contracts
  • Act as a central information and administrative source for members of the network.
  • Act as the first point of contact and management for all ARRS roles
  • Monitor delivery against all PCN service specifications and support practices as required
  • Co-ordinate all PCN service submissions
  • Co-ordinate PCN Board meetings, including setting dates, drawing up agendas, taking minutes, chairing meetings and communicating decisions to the wider PCN.
  • To support the PCN Cancer Lead with data collection and submissions
  • Take notes of other miscellaneous meetings and circulate in a timely manner to all relevant parties.

Organisational:

Update National Staff database with ARRS roles

Organise PCN community health promotional events

Assist in providing training to new staff as required and assist in the recruitment and induction of new ARRS staff.

Management of EMIS appointment system for shared appointment book.

Provide project support to member practices

Finance:

To work with the PCN account holding practice to prepare and submit claims and invoices for payment

Submit claims (including ARRS) on behalf of the Network

Digital:

Support the utilisation and promotion of IT and new digital ways of working in all member practices

To manage TeamNet content on behalf of the PCN

To ensure member practices have up to date Ardens resources

Ensure appropriate data sharing agreements are in place

Relationship Management:

To work as a flexible member of the PCN providing support to other team members when necessary.

Build good relationships with all stakeholders involved in the PCN

Support member practices with patient engagement activities for the PCN

Training may need to be undertaken outside of normal practice hours, and off site.

Quality and Governance:

Maintain the PCN Declaration of Interest Log

Maintain the Network Board Terms of Reference

Develop and maintain Network policies and procedures

Maintain ARRS records on TeamNet and Workforce reporting database

Communication:

The PCN Co-ordinator will ensure effective communication is maintained within the Network and with all stakeholders outside the network.

Monitor the PCN e-mail account and disseminate information as required

Develop PCN level communication including websites, social media content and patient newsletters

  • Educated to GCSE standard Grade A to C or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Word/ Excel/PowerPoint/ Outlook/Teams

Desirable

  • NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Evidence of relevant and continuing professional development (CPD)

Experience
