Job summary
4 session per week GP required (Thursday and Friday).
Laurel Bank Surgery will provide you with:

. Support and help you to develop and special interests
. Help to develop training skills from experienced GPs
Ideally we are looking for a December start but are happy to negotiate this for the right candidate. Informal visits are welcome.
Main duties of the job
The work itself is the usual combination of consulting (blended: phone vs F2F, no long triage/duty doctor surgeries) administrative duties (EPS prescribing etc), occasional HVs, meetings (eg GSF), participation in supervision of GP trainees (eg debrief) and medical students (student-led surgeries) and generally 'mucking in' with your fellow GPs/Nurses.

Laurel Bank Surgery is an Outstanding Practice as rated by the CQC. situated in Headingley and part of the Woodsley PCN with approximately 7500 patients. We have 3 partners, 2 salaried GPs, 2 GP retainers, 2 excellent Practice Nurses and a full range of friendly administrative staff and ARRS roles.
Aside from core GMS work we also offer multiple other services such as joint injections, coils and implants.
A key focus of Laurel Bank Surgery is training. We are a well established GP Training Practice (with 2 GP Trainees) and also take Year 4 & 5 medical students (UOL accredited training practice).
