An opportunity has arisen at Stoke
Road Surgery for a Health Care Assistant (HCA).
Stoke Road Surgery is a friendly,
supportive, teaching practice. Ideally, we are looking for an experienced Healthcare
Assistant.
Main duties of the job
Job
responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to the following
Venepuncture
ECGs
Blood Pressure measurement
NHS health checks
Simple dressings
Urinalysis
Immunisations/injections
Ordering of stock items and monitoring of stock levels
Maintaining equipment and ensuring servicing is undertaken
20-30 hours
available to cover core surgery hours -8.30am-6.30pm
to include a Tuesday and a Friday.
Pay dependent
on experience
About us
We are a well-established
training practice (training GPs and nurses) on the outskirts of Cheltenham,
serving a semi-rural population of around 10,500 patients. Our supportive team
includes 5 partners, 3 salaried GPs, 4 practice nurses, 1 healthcare
assistant and a phlebotomist. Our GPs interests include dermatology, womens
health, diabetes, and gastroenterology.

professional. The HCA/Nurse will work
