Job summary
The Assistant practice manager will be responsible for the production of performance and quality standards within the practice. To manage data quality issues, providing advice and guidance to all practice staff in the use of the clinical system. To oversee the claims process for work undertaken as part of enhanced national or local services.
To act as practice administrator for the clinical system and as practice co-ordinator for IT hardware issues, working closely with the ICB and Shared Services as responsibility for computer hardware is transferred to the ICB. To be knowledgeable of CQC compliances.
Main duties of the job
You will work closely with the practice manager and learn all aspect of the practice management role.
To deputies' for the practice manager in the practice managers absence.

Eagle House Surgery is a training practice, and we provide a service to 13,000 patients that are registered with us in the Ponders End area of Enfield, they are cared for by our five partners, two salaried GPs and three practice nurse plus 2 HCA. The Assistant practice manager post is to help oversee that patients are receiving and accessing the appropriate service or doctor, practice nurse or other healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way. To provide general assistance to the practice team and work closely with the practice manager.
