Main duties of the job

  1. Data Management and Analysis:
    • Manage, analyse, and report on EMIS practice and patient data.
    • Ensure up-to-date clinical codes in EMIS templates for accurate activity capture.
    • Collaborate with the Primary Care Information Manager at Cornerstone Surgery Bolton on analytics workstreams.
  2. Contract Compliance:
    • Analyse and report against DES, LES, and prevalence specifications for successful PCN contract delivery.
    • Increase EMIS usage efficiency at Practice and PCN levels.
  3. Relationship Building:
    • Build high-trust relationships with Local EMIS Teams, Practice-based Clinicians, Community-based Clinicians, and Public Health England.
  4. Analytics and Reporting:
    • Develop consent requests for PCN data and process information in line with Cornerstone Surgery Bolton's protocols.
    • Fulfil reporting requirements aligned with Primary Care Analytics team objectives.
  5. Stakeholder Consultation:
    • Consult Cornerstone Surgery Bolton's key stakeholders on data quality, offering support and advice as needed.
  6. Funding and Project Support:
    • Provide necessary analytics and business information to secure funding for new initiatives.
    • Map new projects to confirm viability.

Experience:

  • Essential:
    • Minimum of 1 year experience in a Health setting.
    • Experience in partnership/collaborative working and building relationships across organizations.
  • Desirable:
    • Experience in a GP practice setting.
    • Experience in developing templates, protocols, and building searches in EMIS web.
    • Experience of working in primary care setting.

Qualifications:

  • Essential:
    • GCSE English & Mathematics or equivalent.
    • A Level Mathematics or equivalent.
  • Desirable:
    • Degree or equivalent professional qualification or relevant experience.

Knowledge and Understanding:

  • Essential:
