This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who is passionate about delivering holistic and high quality patient centred care in a primary care setting.

General Practice offers a nursing career with many opportunities. Working closely with our local community, we are responsible for the health needs ofour patientswhich provides a great variety in our daily work. Examples include Long Term Condition Management, Sexual & Reproductive Health, Health Promotion & Primary Prevention work, Mental Health, Learning Disabilitiesand MinorInjuries.Thereis opportunityto develop areas of specialinterest.

The role will ideally be full time, but part time hours will be considered for the right candidate.

Pay will be dependent on experience.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

• Registered Nurse qualifications and current NMC registration.

Desirable

• Previous experience in primary or community care desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• We are particularly keen to recruit someone with qualifications or an interest in Diabetes.
• The successful candidate will demonstrate good communication skills, enthusiasm and the ability to use their own initiative whilst also being a team player.
