Job summary
We are looking for a GP to cover our EA session on a Thursday each week at our semi-rural training practice, a short drive from Bristol.
Our practice aims to run as efficiently as possible with excellent admin and IT support (EMIS) with many letters/results dealt with for you. A buddy system is in place for checking results, mentoring opportunities available to all, admin time and coffee/tea breaks. Clinicians catch up each day at breaks and through Teams. There is a culture of learning through regular clinical meetings, opportunities for developing knowledge in specialist areas and being involved in research projects. We are a Park Run practice, interested in the environment and individual wellbeing. We have a garden and an active social team.
Main duties of the job
A usual session would start at 4:00pm and finish at 8:00pm.
The
appointments before 6.00pm would be booked on the day as second on duty and where
we can, we try to book these as phone calls.
The appointments from 6.30pm onwards are pre booked by the
Reception Team and are rarely face to face appointments.

We care for 14,500e patients, our team includes ANPs, Clinical Pharmacists, a Mental Health Worker and Physiotherapists.
