Job summary
Hawkesley Medical Practice is looking to recruit a new Receptionist/Administrator to join our dynamic team following a recent restructure within the Practice.
Main duties of the job
You will work with us to provide a first-class level of reception and administration service to help us deliver a high level of care to our patients.
We are looking for people with at least 12 months administration experience in an office environment, excellent interpersonal skills, competent in using MS Office, and people who are adaptable to change and flexible, as you will be required to swap shifts to cover annual leave and work the occasional Saturday when we run winter flu/Covid vaccination clinics. Prior notice would be given.
About us
We are a small, friendly Practice set in the heart of the community in Kings Norton and we deliver excellent patient care to approximately 4200 patients.
We have two GP Partners and two Salaried GPs who are supported by the Practice Manager, Nursing team, Health Care Assistants and the Reception/Admin team.
Our emphasis is very much on our patients' needs and our team and we are therefore looking for people who have the ability to really understand and empathise and who are team players.
The Practice is very busy and this is an exciting challenge for the right people.
We offer 5 weeks' annual leave plus Bank Holidays (pro-rata for part-time employees) and an extra day off for your Birthday!
