Here is a great opportunity to join the Observatory Medical Practice as we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic qualified Nursing Associate to help our wonderful Nursing team in a role covering most aspects of normal treatment. We are a long established friendly 12,800 patient practice in a bright new building in the heart of Jericho, a lovely part of Oxford within walking distance of the city centre and are regularly voted by patients as one of the leading practices in Oxford. There is parking on site for clinical staff and we are within easy walking distance from the train station and main bus routes.

Main duties of the job

The ideal candidate would like to work between 15 and 37.5 hours per week over 2 to 5 days, but there is some flexibility around this (of course!). You will provide and maintain a high standard of nursing care for patients, as well as providing nursing assistance to the doctors and other members of the primary healthcare team. The duties will include all tasks normally undertaken by a nursing associate working in General Practice including doing phlebotomy, injections, vaccinations, wound care (surgical/ulcer wound care/compression), doppler, teamwork, health promotion, room checks (infection control duties), stock check & NHS Health Checks

Pay will be generous and dependent on experience.
