Cranleigh Medical Practice has an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified GP (ARRS) to join the team for 6 sessions per week.
Main duties of the job
The position is an ARRS role so the successful candidate will be a GP who has qualified within the last two years and has not held a substantive post.
As a newly qualified GP at Cranleigh Medical Practice, you will be an integral part of our team, working 6 sessions per week and holding your own patient list. You will receive mentorship from a dedicated partner and will have the full support of the rest of the team to develop in the role.

Job responsibilities
As a newly qualified GP your duties will include:
Patient consultations: Conducting face to face. home visit and telephone consultations, addressing both routine and urgent on the day medical concerns, and providing comprehensive care to your patient list. To include chronic disease management.
Prescribing and referrals: Prescribing medications within your scope of practice, completing medication reviews, adhering to local and national guidelines. Making appropriate referrals to secondary care when necessary.
Clinical administration: Maintaining accurate patient records, reviewing and acting on results, responding to referrals and correspondence from secondary care, responding to patient requests.
Team collaboration: Working closely with our multi disciplinary team to deliver high quality patient care.
Professional Development: Engaging in continuous professional development, participating in educational session, clinical meetings and contributing to clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives. Ensure complaince with appraisal and revalidation process.
