We have an exciting opportunity for a nurse to join our supportive, friendly and experienced clinical and practice team.
We would also consider offering a Lead Practice Nurse role if a suitable candidate is looking for career progression from their current role into a role which would include elements of leadership responsibility.
Our practice nurses undertake a range of treatment room and chronic disease management nursing, working closely alongside the wider practice team which includes GPs, Emergency Care Practitioner, Advanced Practitioner, HCAs, Mental Health Practitioners, PCN Pharmacists, First Contact Physios and Social Prescriber.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking a practice nurse to join our nursing team. The primary purpose of the role is to maintain a high standard of nursing care for all of our patients as well as providing nursing support to our doctors and other members of our primary healthcare team.
About us
East Harling and Kenninghall Medical Practice operates over 2 sites approximately 3 miles apart located in the heart of rural Norfolk, but within minutes of the A11.
By car the Practice sites are approximately 30 minutes from Norwich and 15 minutes from Attleborough/Thetford/Wymondham.
The Practice aims to provide the highest level of patient care to all of its patients through a dedicated team of committed professionals.

These tasks to include:
- Basic wound care
- Removal of sutures
- Dietary and lifestyle advice
- Cervical smears
- Routine immunisations
- Basic travel advice
- Chronic disease management reviews
- Following agreed protocols with referral to GPs as appropriate
- Participating/leading on infection control checks and audits
- Ordering of vaccinations to maintain stock levels
- Maintaining accurate records in each case
- Attending and participating in any practice meetings as required
