Administrator/ Receptionist Caddington Surgery
We are a busy 5,100 patient practice in Caddington, Bedfordshire looking for a part-time medical administrator/receptionist to join our friendly team.
Main duties of the job
The role will be split between reception duties and carrying out administrative tasks including:
Processing repeat prescription requests/tasks
Clinical coding and document management (workflow)
Preparing medical reports
Summarising
Referral management
Registrations, deductions and links
Recalls for QOF and Enhanced Services
Processing online requests from patients (eConsult)
Responding to emails
Preparation of agendas and minutes
Assisting the reception/admin team
Adhoc administrative tasks

Essential Criteria:
The successful candidate will have:
Confident telephone manner
Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
Excellent IT Skills
Extensive customer service experience
Attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure
A can-do attitude and willingness to learn
General practice experience is preferred but all candidates meeting the essential criteria above will be considered.
The selection process for this role will involve a zoom interview then, if successful, a face to face interview where candidates will be expected to complete a task.
