Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated GP for 4-8 sessions per week, who shares our commitment to delivering high quality care to patients. We work with a diverse population but one of the most challenging and deprived communities in an area of high deprivation, and we are keen to serve our population in inclusive, caring and innovative ways.

About us

We are an innovative 2-partner, GMS practice in Finsbury Park. Located in an area with lots of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. We are a young, dynamic and fun practice with a diverse background of talented professionals. We have particular interests in poverty/deep end medicine, social justice, and climate action.

We have created a supportive, learning environment where we train and teach new generation of clinicians which include 3rdyear students up to GP trainees, pharmacists and other health care professionals.

The team you would be joining, The Village Practice have an exceptional team which include our talented secretarial staff, supportive Reception team and many experienced Health-Care Assistants, reducing workload and smoothing the administrative hiccoughs. We have two of the best Nurses in London, a fantastic Pharmacist, First-Contact Physiotherapist, in-house drug and alcohol workers, a practice-based mental health team who we collaborate closely with, minor surgery in-house running weekly, childrens community Nurses. We have our top team of a Practice Manager and Operations Manager, who have sped up the development of the Practice, and have helped oversee a huge transformation of the building.

We care very much about our community and environment, and have been awarded the LGBT Foundations Pride in Practice Gold Award. We are also striving together to reduce our carbon footprint to make our practice and Islington a greener place to work and live.
