Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will lead the management team in the practice, oversee all management functions and continue the reconfiguration of our clinical and management functions following the merger. They will be a key member of the practice executive team who will oversee the delivery of our business strategy in the coming years. The development of good relationships with our local partners will be vital as we continue our contribution to the development of Primary Care services locally.

About us

VHG has 11 GP partners working together with a wide range of health care professionals including salaried GPs, nurse practitioners, practice nurses, health care assistants, clinical pharmacists and social link workers. We are well supported by local community nursing and therapy teams and have a well-developed model of multidisciplinary working. We are leading members of PartnersHealth, our Rushcliffe GP federation, which works collaboratively to standardise care and develop new clinical services. It has a long track record of innovation and close partnership working across all GP practices. VHG is also a leading member of the Rushcliffe Primary Care Network (PCN).
