You will be part of a wider clinical team on site and will be welcome to ask for support or to escalate situations or health needs which feel out of your scope of practice and learn from jointly caring for patients with the GPs.

Main duties of the job

The aim of the role will be to help the wider SHP team provide high quality care to our patient population and enhance patient experience. As part of this role you will support service improvement and feed in where you feel we can provide a better service to our patients or better workforce satisfaction. The role will involve training and development of our wider clinical and non-clinical team as part of our ethos at SHP.

You will work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing nurse leadership as and when required. We are looking for highly motivated ANPs and NPs with independent prescribing skills to join our team. The role will require you to provide timely, high quality, person centred clinical care to patients addressing their needs to the highest standard of evidence based clinical care.
