We are looking for a Salaried Doctor to join our dedicated team. Ideally for 7 sessions a week but this is negotiable. We have 7 sessions a week available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays (full days) and Thursday morning (morning session only). We are happy to consider 1 GP to cover all 7 sessions or two GP's to cover 3-4 sessions each.

About us
We are looking for a Salaried Doctor to join our dedicated team. We have 7 sessions a week available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays (full days) and Thursday morning (morning session only). We are happy to consider 1 GP to cover all 7 sessions or two GP's to cover 3-4 sessions each. We are friendly, supportive team, consisting of 5 GPs, 1 Pharmacist, 1 ANP, 2 practice nurses and 2 HCAs, supported by a network team of Physios, additional pharmacists, social prescribers, care co-ordinators, mental health workers and smoking cessation.
We are a progressive 2 site training Practice in the North of Sheffield, with a list size of 7,800 and are part of a 6 Practice successful and aspirational Primary Care Network.
This is an extremely exciting time to join our Practice and we are looking for a forward thinking GP who can work with us to ensure that we continue to progress, develop and work innovatively within our diverse community.

Job responsibilities
To work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical servicesto the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complyingwith the GMS contract. Furthermore, the post-holder will adhere to the GMCstandards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of thepractice, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationshipwith the multidisciplinary team.
In addition to the primary responsibilities, the salaried GP may be requested to:
- The delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled population
- Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance
- Effective management of long-term conditions
- Processing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated administrative tasks
- On a rotational basis, undertake telephone triage and duty doctor roles
- Working collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice workload
- Contribute to the successful implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the practice
- Contribute effective to the development and maintenance of the practice including; clinical governance, training, financial management and HR
- Ensure compliance with the appraisal process
- Commit to self-learning and instil an ethos of continuing professional development across the practice team
- Support the training of medical students from all clinical disciplines
- Support the partners in achieving the strategic aims of the practice, making recommendations to enhance income and reduce expenditure
- Review and adhere to practice protocols and policies at all times
- Encourage collaborative working, liaising with all staff regularly, promoting a culture of continuous improvement at all times
