Job summary

We are looking for a pro active Healthcare Assistant to join our clinical team. The successful candidate must have the ability to provide clinical services to patients including vaccinations, dressings, suture removal, ECGs, Healthcare checks and other clinical work. You will also be supported by our team of nurses and doctors. We can provide training for the right applicant as long as they hold the care certificate and have some experience in some of the required areas.

Main duties of the job

Providing a service to patients and the practice team, it is essential applicants are flexible and willing to be part of a team and work as a team - full details in the job description

About us

Poverest Medical Centre is a family, friendly organisation which has very approachable doctors, nursing and administrative staff. We are located in Orpington with plenty of parking for staff and with a patient list size of around 8,300.

Experience

Essential

  • At least 2 years HCA experience required.
  • Previous applicants need not apply.

Desirable

  • Experience of working in a GP Practice
  • Experience of Emis clinical system

Qualifications

Essential

  • Must have the Care Certificate
  • Previous GP experience
  • English and Maths at least C grade or the equivalent
  • Must undergo a DRB check
  • Must be computer literate
