Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities:

Teamwork: Work as part of a team to support staff, fostering a positive work environment, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement providing guidance and training as needed

Premises: Oversee the day to day running of the building, ensuring compliance with health & Safety standards

Access & capacity: Manage the supply and demand of appointments. Review trends to predict need and amend demand as required .

Communication: Manage effective communication with all building users, including patients and staff as well as external bodies.

Patient Experience: Collaborate with clinical staff to enhance the patient experience, implementing processes to improve patient satisfaction and engagement. Investigate and resolve complaints.

Technology Integration: Stay abreast of advancements in healthcare technology and contribute to the implementation of systems that enhance operational efficiency.

Currently, we have 4 GP partners, one of whom will be retiring in March 2024, supported by a large clinical and administration team. This includes 3 salaried GPs, clinical pharmacists, advanced practitioners, nursing, management, and administration staff.

The practice premises form part of a substantial converted industrial unit accommodating various healthcare services, including a pharmacy, dentist, private practitioners, and commercial tenants. Free parking is available.
