Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Hours are Fridays 8am - 6:30pm and cover when needed. We can offer some degree of flexibility.
Buxton Medical Practice is an innovative, expanding Practice in the beautiful Spa town of Buxton. We are currently looking for one or more Advanced Nurse Practitioners to provide a same day triage and care service for our patient population and a full or part-time basis.
Ideally, with the Independent Nurse Prescribing and Nurse Practitioner qualification, you will have experience of A&E/Urgent Care/Walk in Centre. You will be responsible for providing a high standard of care using advanced autonomous clinical skills, providing appropriate education and advice for informed decision making regarding treatment and patient centred packages of care.
Main duties of the job
Duties include
clinical triage
minor illness clinics
urgent care
face to face, over the telephone/video and within the home environment (Home visits).
You must be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of healthcare professionals and patients, plus be enthusiastic and committed to making a difference
We use the EMIS web clinical system.

backed up by a full team of administration, reception and management.
